20 years ago Robert was invited on his first trout fishing trip on the White River and he’s been hooked ever since!
After that trip he purchased his first “trout boat”. A little Jon boat with an igloo ice chest for the live well. This we the boat that made him realize the trout had won him over! He gave up deer hunting and was spending more and more time on the water. After a couple years and many fishing trips later, he upgraded to a natural gear camo duck boat. This boat caught lots of trout, but had limited space! He eventually out grew this boat and finally purchased his dream trout boat, a red and white, 20 feet long river boat! He knew this boat would always have room to bring people along. This is the boat began his guiding career.
For the past 10 years Robert has been introducing people to his love of trout fishing. He normally has them ready to plan their next trip before the boat has even made it to the ramp. His favorite thing about guiding is watching the joy on a child’s face as the reel in their first rainbow trout!
